I am Kaori Nejihashi, a lawyer based in Nagoya, Aichi prefecture, Japan. I am licensed in Japan and New York.
I started my career as a lawyer in 2000 at a law firm in Tokyo. The law firm was associated with the Tokyo Office of an U.S. based law firm (O’Melveny & Myers LLP) , and I did a lot of work for foreign corporations doing business in Japan.
In 2005, I went to the U.S. to study at Harvard Law School under Fulbright scholarship. I got an LL.M. and returned to my home city, Nagoya, in 2006.
Since then, I have been providing legal services to domestic and foreign clients. Although I am based in Nagoya, Aichi, my service area covers all Japan as recently many proceedings can be taken through video / telephone conference.
